Tocal is 180 km North of Sydney via the F3 Freeway. It is 14 km North of Maitland on the Paterson/Dungog road. Nearest large railway station is Maitland. You will need to take a taxi to Tocal as there is no bus service. The nearest airport is at Williamtown (Newcastle) a 45 minute drive from Tocal.

To get here by car ...

Take the New England Highway to Maitland. If travelling from Williamtown airport, go to Maitland via Hexham.

Approaching Maitland from Singleton, go straight through the roundabout at Hungry Jacks/Horseland. Turn left at the next roundabout and follow the signs to Paterson/Dungog

Approaching from Newcastle/Hexham, go along the New England Highway through East Maitland to Maitland. Turn right at the first roundabout, above the railway station and follow the signs to Paterson/Dungog.

From Maitland to Tocal...

Follow the signs to Paterson - cross the Hunter River at Lorn, and continue towards Paterson. Tocal Agricultural Centre is 12.5km from Lorn.
