A Hunter Community Recovery grant has been offered for the project: Tocal Field Days - Strengthening School Communities.
8 schools from Hunter communities significantly affected by the June 2007 storms, will be sponsored.
The project will build on the existing facilities and networks of Tocal Field Days, and allow 50 students from 8 schools to attend and to affirm support for psychological recovery.
Community and emergency services will offer information and displays on responding positively to, and preparedness for, future natural disasters.
